An Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (EMJMD) is a prestigious, international study program, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions to study in at least two of the Programme countries (European Countries). EMJMDs award is funded by the EU which is awarded to qualified students each year.
Eligible countries are divided into two groups, Programme countries and Partners countries. Although Programme countries are eligible for all actions of Erasmus+, Partner countries can only take part in some, and are subject to specific conditions. More information on eligibility is available on the pages for specific opportunities (both for Together these represent 30 Programme Countries from Europe and 90 Partner Countries from other parts of the world. It is now sixteen years since the first Erasmus Mundus joint masters programmes were selected.
